How would you describe your style as a Parkour athlete?

I would say that my style is quite a classic mixture of the standard, most well known flips partnered up with a well rounded Parkour skill set. Due to the fact that I have focused on advancing and perfecting the basics, I have become good at taking these basics and applying them in a more technically difficult way. Some have said that I look like a gazelle when I move, maybe that’s just due to my bodily proportions, however over the years, I have definitely focused on perfecting every movement to the best of my ability.

What is your favourite aspect of the sport?

My favourite thing about the sport is simply what we’ve made of it; the evolution of vaults, flips and other moves, the skill sets, the different athletes with unique styles, and the diversity of what we are able to do with our body when we think creatively, learn from each other and just MOVE!

When you are not training parkour how do you fill your time?

I could write a list but that would probably be boring, so here's a few things I like to do. I like to read; to gain knowledge on the subjects that I am interested in. I like to write, I like to play Xbox with my mates, I LOVE to eat, so I do quite a bit of that. I like to pretend I know what I'm doing with my guitar (slowly but surely), I like to make little creative pieces for my Instagram audience to enjoy, I like to swim in the sea, and I love to meditate; sitting and being in the moment is lovely and joyful.

Is Parkour your full-time job and If not what do you do on the side?

I make a living off of Instagram product promotions, commercial work and other Parkour/modelling jobs. However, recently I started writing a book, and I am now selling it on Amazon and via my website. It is a short autobiography that I have really enjoyed writing, and I hope the people that read it enjoy it also.

Within parkour are you pushing towards any goals or challenges?

My main goal is to stay consistent, never regress in my training and be happy with my movement at all times. From this state, progression and physical and mental development is much easier. Therefore, when I do come across any major goals that I want to pursue, I should be ready to rumble.

If you were not able to choose parkour what other sport would you like to pursue toward a professional level?

Well, from a young age I wanted to be a professional Rugby player. However, now, that all seems to be a bit too violent and physically demanding for my liking. So I think I’d say either; breakdancing, surfing, or skiing.

What is your favourite part of being a part of Motus?

Being able to contribute towards the progression of such a respected, growing Parkour brand. Being a part of a team of awesome lads, that I can travel with, laugh with, be creative with and just have great memories with, whilst all the while developing the brand name that we represent.

What are your favourite and most memorable trips you have been on with Motus and are there any places you wish to go too in the future?

Oh, don’t get me started. There’s too many. And I’m so grateful for that. But the obvious ones; touring America and Canada for 6 weeks. Shooting a Drone Parkour video in Malta. And of course, our first ever trip with Motus back in 2016 to the birthplace of Parkour - Lisses and La Defense, in France.

Motus is a collective of very close and good mates but is there anybody in specific within Motus you find yourself working with the best?

Luke Stones is my oldest Parkour training buddy and a good friend. I like how we both seem to appreciate the beauty of our surroundings in a similar way, which makes travelling with him very easy and appealing. Also simply because we’ve known each other for so long, we both seem to understand each other well, which makes working together much easier.

Where would you like to see yourself and Motus within the next 5 years?

This is always a tricky one but i’ll give it a go! I want to have built a reputable name for myself within the community and beyond, via mediums such as Instagram and other creative works. My successes will then help my ability to travel and put time and energy into growing and diversifying the content and products that we produce through Motus. I want to have a name for myself as an individual, but at the same time expand, advance and flourish alongside the wonderful team of creatives that are all a part of Motus.

I want to use the next 5 years to do whatever I can, in my Sovereign Power, to better the world around me, near or far. By encouraging happiness, love and positivity through my creations. Making people laugh, and making people cry and by teaching, to the people around me and anybody else that chooses to listen, any wisdom that I might have to share. I hope we can do this with Motus as well, inspire people to follow their true passions, travel to see the world around them, and have as much fun as they can wherever they go.

What is your taste in music?

Oh, anything! Literally. I’m not really one to listen to the lyrics of a song too much, even though of course I still do. It’s all about how the piece makes me feel. If it resonates with certain memories or an overall feeling attached to a certain time in my life. Basically, if it gives me goosebumps, it’s done a darn good job.

What is your favourite food?

I don’t really know. A banging Indian always tickles the fancy, however, I never feel good after eating it. I guess for me there are two types of favourite; when I eat raw health foods, with variety and flair, I feel alive and morally happy which is always nice. However, when I used to eat meat more than I do now, a classic kebab shop chicken burger with a nice bit of mayo and maybe a few fries chucked in, was definitely my GO TO!

What is your favourite piece from the new Sole Destroyer collection & why?

Either the Red Stripe Shorts, because they just feel so quality, with nice zipped pockets and a lovely fit, perfect for lounging around at home or summer training. Or, the Black Tour T-Shirt because it’s subtle, funky, and goes with most outfits.
